NIOS Admission 2020-2021 - National Institute of Open Schooling has started NIOS 10th, 12th admissions 2021 for October exams. NIOS On-line Stream 2 Admission for October 2020
- Online NIOS admissions for stream 2 were started from May 1, 2020. The last date was extended to July 31, 2020, due to COVID-19.
- All unsuccessful students of Class 10 and 12 from any recognized board are eligible to get NIOS 2020 admission under this stream.

NIOS 2020-21 Admission - Eligibility Criteria
Students who fulfil NIOS eligibility criteria can apply for NIOS 2020 admission. Here are the eligibility conditions of online NIOS admission:
Age Limit
- The minimum age limit for NIOS 10th admission is 14 years as on January 31, 2021. Students who born on or before January 31, 2007, are eligible for NIOS admission 2020-2021.
- For NIOS 12th admission, the minimum age limit is 15 years as on January 31, 2021. Students who born on or before January 31, 2006, can also apply for NIOS class 12 admission 2021.
Minimum Education
- He/she must have cleared class 8 from the recognised board or must possess enough knowledge to sit for the class 10 exam. A candidate giving self-certificate and stating that they have studied enough to be eligible for NIOS 10th registration 2021.
- He/she must have cleared class 10 from a recognized board to apply for NIOS class 12 registration 2021. Students who are applying immediately after passing 10th will not be allowed to sit for the exams for all the subjects in one attempt.
Documents Required for NIOS admission 2020-21
The student applying for NIOS 2020 admission will have to upload the scanned copy of documents. These documents are considered as proof of eligibility for NIOS 10th or 12th admission. NIOS admit card 2020 is released for the candidates who submit all the required documents in jpg or jpeg files. Here's the list of documents required for NIOS online admission 2021:
- Aadhaar card or passport or ration card or other identity proof.
- Birth certificate for proof of date of birth

NIOS Admission 2021 Fees
A student registering for NIOS will have to pay the admission fee to apply successfully for NIOS 2020 admission online. The admission fee is to be paid through credit card /debit card/net banking.

Apart from the above one will have to pay Rs. 720 per subject for each additional subject, to register for that. Students will need to pay Rs. 50 as the cost of online Application Form.
